Job Title:

Dietitian

Job Summary:

JCCS Solutions is looking for Dietitians to advise and assist food service systems within nursing homes,hospitals, and other healthcare related facilities to improve nutritional care. Dietitians will be expected to effectively evaluate and monitor all aspects of food service operations and communicate with staff and directors regarding nutritional care.

Responsibilities:

  • Implementing comprehensive nutrition assessments
  • Developing and evaluating nutritional-care plans
  • Providing guidance to the Food Services Director regarding food services operations
  • Making recommendations and improvements that will provide nutritional high quality food
  • Completing written and oral reports with recommendations concerning dining service operations for ongoing quality assurance
  • Building and conducting in-service educational orientation programs for food service personnel
  • Acting as the central communication link by consulting with facility directors and staff concerning nutritional care and specific dietary needs and requests of patients
  • Participating in state/federal facility inspections, when necessary

Job Title:

Dining Services Director

Job Summary:

JCCS Solutions is looking to hire Dining Service Directors to oversee all food service systems within nursing homes, hospitals, and other healthcare related facilities. Dining Service Directors are required to oversee all dietary operations and ensure the quality of all food. They are responsible for administrating menus, directing meal preparation and service, purchasing food and supplies, ensuring the safety and nutrition of all food by applying nutrition principles and documenting nutrition information, and maintaining maximum sanitation of all equipment, as well as the kitchen and dining areas. In addition, Dining Service Directors recruit, train, and manage the daily activities of all dietary staff.

Responsibilities:

  • Hire, train and schedule employees
  • Manage inventory — order food and supplies within budgetary guidelines
  • Prepare and serve quality food
  • Ensure therapeutic diets/menus are being followed as directed by physicians, nurses and the facility dietitian
  • Maintain a clean sanitary environment at all times
  • Ensure dietary operations are in compliance with State and Federal Regulations
